These have been my favorites for the month of March, some have been favorites for longer. Watch my youtube channel for more thorough explanations as to why I’ve been loving them so much.
Naked 3 Palette This is one of my first high-end eyeshadow purchases. Prior to the Naked 3 I would use ELF eyeshadows. Yet, I am more than thrilled with my Naked 3 palette for a variety of reasons. I absolutely adore the gold and elegant packaging. It’s versatile, easy to wear for any occasion (big or small), and is very easy to travel with. I must not forget to mention the beautiful, gorgeous, and sophisticated colors that range from subtle pinks into golds from shimmer to matte. It’s very heavenly.
Honest Co. Lip Balm in Lavender Mint At first I thought the Honest Co. (a company founded by Jessica Alba) was entirely made for newborn babies, but I thought wrong. Apparently the Honest Co. sells organic lip balms, and who knows what else? Apart from this being a lovely lip balm that serves its purpose, if you had told me Jessica Alba created anything beauty related of course I’d be interested in picking it up. This lip balm has a lovely and very gentle scent, adorable packaging, and most importantly keeps my lips hydrated for hours.
Sigma Eyeliner Brush #E05 I love this brush for two reasons. It’s pink and it’s small! Oh, and does it work? Yes. This brush is perfect for applying a thicker line of eyeliner, it’s stiff and therefore makes it for an easy eyeliner application. I can’t vouch for the perfect winged-eyeliner look, but if you’re the type of a girl looking for a quick and easy medium to thick eyeliner distribution, this brush would be perfect for you. However, I think the pink was a Valentines Day addition.
Sigma Tapered Blending Brush #E40 As with the eyeshadow, this has been my first high-end makeup brush and I have to say the difference is very notable. While my ELF brushes have served me very well, the feel and longevity of the Sigma brushes force me to stick with the higher end purchase. Now I can’t say the mechanics of all Sigma brushes are superior to the ElF ones, but I can say that this Tapered Blending brush is. It blends quickly and beautifully. Boy oh boy has it made me one very happy blender.
Sally Hansen Thicken-Up! Nail Thickener If you’re up for thicker and longer nails I suggest trying this magical tube of nail thickener. However, there’s just one catch. Try it with Biotin and you got some strong, long nails that’ll last you longer than the paint lasts on your nails. I go much more into detail on my channel.
Selena Makeup Remover Cotton Pads I’m lucky enough to have found these on sale at the Mitsuwa Japanese market. Otherwise, I would have never picked them up. They also gave samples of the soft cotton for us to feel before making the purchase. These cotton pads are by far my favorite. They’re thick, big, and you can peel them into five smaller layers. So in that case they last you a very long time and make it worth the extra dollar.
Moroccan Oil Treatment I’ve tried at least three different oils before this one and I almost felt hopeless after feeling dryness at the ends of my hair. I suggest this oil for girls with damaged, colored, relaxed, or dry hair. This oil eliminates that dryness while making your hair appear healthier and more alive! This is a small sample tube, but I bet it’ll last me a very long time.
Starbucks Card And lastly, here is my Starbucks card. I turned this $5 gift card into a registered Starbucks card and I have never regretted it since. If you’re an avid coffee drinker or if you just enjoy a nice Starbucks once in awhile, I highly suggest you get a registered Starbucks card. They’ll reward you with BOGO coffee or pastry once in awhile. You’ll get a free drink of any kind or size on your birthday. And, once you reach certain levels you’ll get a free drink! Oh…and if you spend countless hours in Starbucks (STUDYING or STU DYING, however you wanna call it) you’ll love the free refills you get once you’re at the Green level.
