How to Use Rice Water for Hair Growth

How to Use Rice Water for Hair After using rice water for several weeks I have noticed longer thicker and healthier hair like I have never seen before. Even my friends have noticed! Rice water is full of nutrients and vitamins and can be used for a variety of things! Try using rice water as a face toner or even a face wash. Watch this video to learn how to use rice water for hair growth. Rice water is an ancient beauty secret in Asia that has been used for hundreds of years. Ladies have used this to achieve gorgeous hair and healthy and beautiful skin. You can use whichever rice you’d like, but just like with most things organic is preferred. This process is called fermentation so your rice water might smell a little sour but once you wash your hair the smell will go away. This rice water is very potent so make sure to mix it with some water before using, and if you find that it makes your hair a little dry try mixing it with a little bit of oil, like lavender, rosemary, or olive oil before using. Miso Yaki Onigiri (Miso Flavored Grilled Rice Ball)

Miso Yaki Onigiri (Miso Flavored Grilled Rice Ball)

I stumbled across ochikeron’s Miso Yaki Onigiri recipe, it seemed so simple that I couldn’t resist trying it out, so here it is.   Ingredients: 1 cup or 1 cup 1/2 Japanese rice 2 teaspoons of toasted sesame seeds (optional) 1 tbsp of Miso paste (you can find this in Japanese markets) 1 tbsp of Mirin (sweet Sake) 1/2 tsp of sugar 2 tsp of sesame oil or any oil for cooking or grilling Directions: Mix the miso paste, mirin, and sugar in a bowl Make 4 rice balls using plastic wrap or wet hands and sprinkle sesame seeds before shaping (I like to shape mine into triangles so that the rice ball can lay flat and evenly while I’m grilling, but it’s your choice) Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat and cook the rice balls on both sides until lightly browned Brush the miso sauce on rice balls and cook one by one until browned, if you cook them all together they may become black and burned (i actually put the miso sauce on the rice balls as the first step and that is why mine are black and a little burnt, but i liked them that way ~ extra crispy ) Eat immediately if you want to enjoy a nice warm snack, even though rice ball will remain delicious hours after. Your Miso Yaki Onigiri will have a smokey BBQ like flavor that is mouth...
March Favorites

March Favorites

These have been my favorites for the month of March, some have been favorites for longer. Watch my youtube channel for more thorough explanations as to why I’ve been loving them so much. Naked 3 Palette This is one of my first high-end eyeshadow purchases. Prior to the Naked 3 I would use ELF eyeshadows. Yet, I am more than thrilled with my Naked 3 palette for a variety of reasons. I absolutely adore the gold and elegant packaging. It’s versatile, easy to wear for any occasion (big or small), and is very easy to travel with. I must not forget to mention the beautiful, gorgeous, and sophisticated colors that range from subtle pinks into golds from shimmer to matte.  It’s very heavenly.     Honest Co. Lip Balm in Lavender Mint At first I thought the Honest Co. (a company founded by Jessica Alba) was entirely made for newborn babies, but I thought wrong. Apparently the Honest Co. sells organic lip balms, and who knows what else? Apart from this being a lovely lip balm that serves its purpose, if you had told me Jessica Alba created anything beauty related of course I’d be interested in picking it up. This lip balm has a lovely and very gentle scent, adorable packaging, and most importantly keeps my lips hydrated for hours. Sigma Eyeliner Brush #E05 I love this brush for two reasons. It’s pink and it’s small! Oh, and does it work? Yes. This brush is  perfect for applying a thicker line of eyeliner, it’s stiff and therefore makes it for an easy eyeliner application. I can’t vouch for the perfect...
My Easy Crepe Recipe

My Easy Crepe Recipe

Recipe From allrecipes.com Ingredients: 1 cup flour 2 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup water 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons of butter, melted Sugar to taste Directions: In a large mixing bowl whisk the flour and eggs (the texture will smooth out after all the ingredients are added). Slowly add in milk and water, you can continue to whisk or stir to combine. Add salt and melted butter and continue to stir until smooth. Heat a lightly oiled or buttered (which I prefer) frying pan over medium high heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto frying pan and smooth it out until the batter covers the entire pan. Cook each crepe for 2 minutes until the bottom is light brown, loosen with a spatula, and turn over to cook the other side. Serve hot Use any filling you like. I warmed up some peanut butter (don’t warm up for too long) and added some sliced bananas....
